I'm currently studying Political Science and Government at the Henry Ford Community College. I have a great deal of experience working with young people, both in teaching and individual tutoring. It is always my goal to help students develop open minds, abilities to look at their world through a critical lens, and gain the confidence they need in their own ability to contribute positively towards society. At the same time, I have developed numerous strategies for planning, preparing, and delivering educational experiences that keep my students interested in the subject and results in their improvement and success. I gain fulfillment from being a part of each of my students' growth. I have worked in numerous different types of teaching environments, so I am flexible and able to work with students of all types, even those who exhibit challenging behavior and barriers to learning. I have an innate sense of creativity, so the teaching materials I have collected and continue to add to help make learning interesting for students. I enjoy motivating and inspiring my students to move ahead confidently in their education. Outside the classroom, I have interests in foreign languages, music, sports, and art.
